Charleston County Government will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day. All Charleston County offices, libraries, and courts will be closed. Garbage and trash pickup: Collection will be delayed by one day throughout the week. Charleston County convenience centers: Will be open. Beaches: Beach conditions can be viewed on the Charleston County Parks website or mobile app. Lifeguards will be on duty at Isle of Palms County Park, Kiawah Beachwalker Park, and Folly Beach County Park. Parks: Open, but staffed programs and activities will not take place. Animal Shelter: Closed on Monday, May 27, 2024. Open for adoptions by appointment Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
