19th Century Jersey City windmill of Isaac Edge. This landmark of old Jersey City, seemingly symbolic of Jersey City's Dutch heritage, was actually built by an English immigrant, Isaac Edge. It was located on the shores of the Hudson at the site of what is now Exchange Place, and was in operation from 1815 to 1839.
