This warning, effective as of October 7 at 9:59 PM CDT, indicates that tropical storm-force winds and life-threatening storm surge are expected within the next 36 hours. The warning expires on October 8 at 6:00 AM UTC.
A Storm Surge Warning is also in effect, meaning there is a danger of life-threatening inundation from rising water moving inland.
