The Bay Harbor Islands Evaluation Committee will review proposals for two upcoming bridge replacement projects on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The public meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Conference Room #3 at the Morris N. Broad Community Center.
The committee will hear oral presentations from firms seeking contracts for the NE 96th Street Bridge over the Bay Harbor Waterway (FM 453019-1-38-01) and the Kane Concourse Bridge over Indian Creek (FM 453040-1-38-01). The meeting aims to finalize the evaluation of these proposals and rank the competing firms.
Residents are invited to observe the decision-making process for these infrastructure upgrades. The proposal opening date was June 16, 2026.
