Bay Harbor Islands has released its 2026 observed holiday schedule, including 13 official days off and additional benefits for town employees.

Details regarding the Town of Bay Harbor Islands Employees Retirement System, a defined benefit pension plan for full-time employees, are now available. Actuarial valuations and disclosures from recent years can be accessed by residents.

Bay Harbor Islands Residents Can Apply for New Shepard Broad Causeway SunPass Plan
Bay Harbor Islands residents can now apply for a new SunPass toll plan for the Shepard Broad Causeway. Starting October 1, 2026, eligible residents can purchase a one-year plan for $350. Toll rates for the Broad Causeway will also see an increase effective December 1, 2026.

Holiday Parade Date: Saturday, December 9, 2023 Time: 10:00 AM Join us for the City of Safety Harbor's annual Holiday Parade! This festive event will feature a variety of participants and floats, bringing holiday cheer to our community. The parade will begin at Bayshore Boulevard and Main Street, proceed east on Main Street, and conclude at Philippe Parkway. Individuals, businesses, and community groups interested in participating in the parade are welcome to register.
