A Public Hearing will be held on June 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Fort Walton Beach City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to consider the following proposed ordinance: ORDINANCE 2024-15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2023-14, WHICH ADOPTED THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET, TO PROVIDE FOR SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget to appropriate funds for the following projects: Butters Park Improvement Project ($150,000), Downtown CRA Façade Grant Program ($250,000), and Regional Airport Land Acquisition ($1,000,000). A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for review at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
