Bay County Fire Rescue earned the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Achievement Award for the second year running, recognizing the department's excellence in treating stroke and cardiac patients.

United States Removes Highly Enriched Uranium from Venezuela
The United States, in collaboration with Venezuela and the United Kingdom, has completed the removal of highly enriched uranium from Venezuela's RV-1 research reactor. The International Atomic Energy Agency provided technical support. The operation finished more than two years ahead of the initial schedule.
