EUFAULA: May 29. Elevation is a foot above normal and stable. The water temperature is 72 degrees and stained. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids and white bass good on crankbaits, flukes, hair jigs, jigs, lipless baits and sassy shad below the dam, discharge and tailwater. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, stinkbait and sunfish below the dam, channels, main lake, river channel and river mouth. Elevation is normal and stable. The water temperature is 75 degrees and murky. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around brush structure, docks and shorelines. Elevation is normal and stable. The water temperature is 63 degrees and clear. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons and worms below the dam. COMMENTS: Fishing is good when water not generating. Blue, channel and flathead catfish excellent on chicken liver, cut bait, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, stinkbait and sunfish below the dam, channels, creek channels, discharge, flats, river channel and shorelines. Crappie fair on flukes, hair jigs, jigs, minnows and spinnerbaits around brush structure, coves, docks, flats, riprap, rocks, shorelines, standing timber and weed beds. White bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits and spoons around coves, creek channels, main lake and river channel. COMMENTS: Fish were caught this week, just not by everyone.
