Schedule a Redelivery - USPS Service Overview If we missed you when we tried to deliver your mail, you can schedule a Redelivery online using a tracking number or the barcode number shown on the back of your PS Form 3849, We ReDeliver for You! Redeliveries can be scheduled online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For same-day Redelivery, make sure your request is submitted by 2 AM CST Monday-Saturday or your Redelivery will be scheduled for the next day. Check to determine if Redelivery is available for your address. Step 1: Check if Redelivery is available for your address. Customers must provide contact information including first name, last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, and email. The address must match the original delivery address. Step 2: Select packages for Redelivery. Enter a tracking or barcode number shown on the back of your PS Form 3849, We ReDeliver for You! All packages in a single Redelivery request must be associated to the same PS Form 3849. Tracking numbers are for individual packages. Barcode numbers can have multiple tracking numbers associated with it. Both tracking and barcode numbers are between 13 and 34 characters. Redelivery Types Available: - USPS Smart Parcel Locker: If "USPS Smart Parcel Locker Eligible" is checked on the front of PS Form 3849, packages can be delivered to a USPS Smart Parcel Locker. Most electronic lockers are available 24/7 for pickup using a one-time pickup code (pickup hours based on Post Office location hours). - USPS Carrier Redelivery: Fill out the back of PS Form 3849 to let your carrier know when and where you'd like them to leave the package, then put the form in your mailbox. - Customer Pickup: Go to the Post Office location written on the back of PS Form 3849 to pick up the package, or send someone else as your representative. - Return to Sender by USPS: If you don't want to receive the package, USPS will send it back to the shipper with the endorsement "Return to Sender." Step 3: Confirm selections for Redelivery. Review and confirm your selections. You must accept the Terms and Conditions for Redelivery to proceed. Step 4: Sign up for Informed Delivery. Customers can sign up for Informed Delivery notifications, a free feature that allows tracking of Redelivery requests, previewing incoming mail, and more. Mail and packages will populate the dashboard in 2 to 5 business days. Additional Services: Modify Redelivery Request available for existing requests. Fastest Delivery Speed services include Priority Mail Express (1-3 days, from $35.90 flat rate envelope or $35.65 by weight/zone, up to 70 lbs, includes up to $100 insurance) and Priority Mail (2-3 days, from $12.90 flat rate envelope, $13.65 flat rate box, or $11.00 by weight/zone, up to 70 lbs, includes up to $100 insurance). Simple, Affordable, Reliable services include USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 days, from $7.90, up to 70 lbs, includes up to $100 insurance). Postcards & Envelopes services include First-Class Mail (1-5 days, from $0.61 for postcards, $0.78 for letters, $1.63 for large envelopes, no tracking for letters unless add-on services purchased). Media Mail is available for 2-8 days delivery at $4.47 starting price for eligible books, media, and educational materials weighing up to 70 lbs. Eligible items include books (at least 8 pages), 16mm or narrower films, printed music and test materials, video and sound recordings, playscripts and manuscripts, printed educational reference charts, medical loose-leaf pages and binders, and computer-readable media. Video games, computer drives, and digital drives do not qualify. Additional Package Fees apply for dimensional weight (calculated as Length x Width x Height divided by 166 for packages larger than 1 cubic foot), nonstandard length (packages 22-30 inches add $4.50; over 30 inches add $4.50-$21.00 depending on service), nonstandard characteristics ($4.50 for cylindrical tubes, cans, boxes with liquid, or items that may shift), and nonstandard volume (over 2 cubic feet adds $21.00-$35.00). USPS Label Delivery Service: For a fee, get a shipping label delivered directly to you. Someone Sent You a Label Broker ID (a QR Code) You're returning something to a store or sending something to a customer through an ecommerce platform, and they sent you an email or text with a Label Broker ID (a QR Code). Harmonized System (HS) Code Lookup - Get Required Codes for International Packages. For international packages, you need an 'HS Code' for each item in your package. Type a detailed description of your item to get the required HS Code. The tool requires users to enter a valid destination country and provide a clearly detailed description of the item, including what the item is used for or made of. Examples given include: laptop computer; fresh eggplant; antiviral spray medication. Users can optionally select a category and subcategory for more accurate results. The search function returns the HS Code with the item description. Users are instructed to verify results match their item and add more details if needed. Schedule a Redelivery - USPS Service Overview If we missed you when we tried to deliver your mail, you can schedule a Redelivery online using a tracking number or the barcode number shown on the back of your PS Form 3849, We ReDeliver for You! Redeliveries can be scheduled online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For same-day Redelivery, make sure your request is submitted by 2 AM CST Monday-Saturday or your Redelivery will be scheduled for the next day. Check to determine if Redelivery is available for your address. Step 1: Check if Redelivery is available for your address. Customers must provide contact information including first name, last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, and email. The address must match the original delivery address. Step 2: Select packages for Redelivery. Enter a tracking or barcode number shown on the back of your PS Form 3849, We ReDeliver for You! All packages in a single Redelivery request must be associated to the same PS Form 3849. Tracking numbers are for individual packages. Barcode numbers can have multiple tracking numbers associated with it. Both tracking and barcode numbers are between 13 and 34 characters. Redelivery Types Available: - USPS Smart Parcel Locker: If "USPS Smart Parcel Locker Eligible" is checked on the front of PS Form 3849, packages can be delivered to a USPS Smart Parcel Locker. Most electronic lockers are available 24/7 for pickup using a one-time pickup code (pickup hours based on Post Office location hours). - USPS Carrier Redelivery: Fill out the back of PS Form 3849 to let your carrier know when and where you'd like them to leave the package, then put the form in your mailbox. - Customer Pickup: Go to the Post Office location written on the back of PS Form 3849 to pick up the package, or send someone else as your representative. - Return to Sender by USPS: If you don't want to receive the package, USPS will send it back to the shipper with the endorsement "Return to Sender." Step 3: Confirm selections for Redelivery. Review and confirm your selections. You must accept the Terms and Conditions for Redelivery to proceed. Step 4: Sign up for Informed Delivery. Customers can sign up for Informed Delivery notifications, a free feature that allows tracking of Redelivery requests, previewing incoming mail, and more. Mail and packages will populate the dashboard in 2 to 5 business days. Additional Services: Modify Redelivery Request available for existing requests. Search for existing redelivery requests using confirmation number and associated email or phone number. All cancellations must be submitted before 2 AM CST on the day of redelivery. Type a detailed description of your item to get the required HS Code. The tool requires users to enter a valid destination country and provide a clearly detailed description of the item, including what the item is used for or made of. Examples given include: laptop computer; fresh eggplant; antiviral spray medication. Users can optionally select a category and subcategory for more accurate results. The search function returns the HS Code with the item description. Users are instructed to verify results match their item and add more details if needed. The USPS passport appointment scheduling system allows customers to book appointments for passport services at participating Post Office locations. Users begin by selecting their service type: New Passport Only, New Passport with Photo Services, Passport Renewal, Digital Photo Services Only, or Hard Copy Photo Services Only. They specify the number of adults and minors under 16 years old requiring service. Customers then search for appointments by location or date, with the ability to search up to 4 weeks in advance. The system displays the 5 closest locations and allows users to filter by radius (1 to 100 miles). After selecting a preferred date, users choose from available appointment times, with each appointment taking approximately 15 minutes per person. Customers are instructed to arrive 10 minutes early.
