Polk County Tax Collector Offices Closed July 3 for Holiday
All Polk County Tax Collector's Office locations and the call center were closed Friday, July 3, 2026, for the Independence Day holiday. Residents were advised to plan transactions accordingly.

All Polk County Tax Collector's Office (TCPC) locations, including the Bartow service center, were closed Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The closure affected all five service centers: Bartow, Davenport, Lake Alfred, Lake Wales and Lakeland. The TCPC Call Center also was unavailable.
The office typically provides property tax collection, motor vehicle registration and driver license services. Residents needing to conduct business were advised to plan visits around the observed holiday.
The Polk County Tax Collector's Office announced the closure June 29, 2026.
