Polk County Tax Collector Offices Closed for Memorial Day
All Polk County Tax Collector's Office locations will close Monday, May 25, 2026, for Memorial Day. Services will resume Tuesday, May 26.

The Polk County Tax Collector’s Office will close all service center locations and administrative offices on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.
Polk County Tax Collector Joe G. Tedder announced the closure. The holiday closure allows employees to honor fallen military personnel.
Offices in Bartow, Davenport, Lake Alfred, Lake Wales, and Lakeland will be closed.
Residents needing to conduct business, such as renewing vehicle registrations or paying property taxes, should plan to visit on a regular business day before or after the holiday. The office will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
