A severe thunderstorm was detected at 9:54 PM EDT over Deering, approximately 10 miles north of Williamsburg, moving eastward at 20 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and penny-sized hail, according to radar indications. Potential impacts include damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Areas specifically affected include south central Laurel County, west central Knox County, and northern Whitley County in south central Kentucky. The storm is expected to reach Faber around 10:00 PM EDT and Wilton around 10:05 PM EDT.
