Atlantic Beach residents can influence upcoming renovations at Donner Park by completing a survey about proposed upgrades. The city is seeking funding from the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) to improve the park at 2072 George Street.

Planned enhancements aim to boost the park's usability and safety for families in neighborhoods such as Beaches Town Center and Atlantic West. Proposed work includes replacing one baseball dugout, installing new roofs on a second dugout, the picnic pavilion, and the restroom building. The city also plans to add safety fencing between the baseball field and the splash pad, and resurface the two basketball courts.

Community feedback will help finalize project details for the grant application. The anonymous survey takes about three minutes to complete and will directly impact the renovation's scope. The survey closes October 9, 2026.

Residents can access the survey online. The city encourages all community members to share their opinions to ensure the improvements meet the needs of Atlantic Beach park users.
