Marinette County Announces Spring Brush and Yard Waste Collection Dates
Spring Brush & Yard Waste Collection Schedule: Marinette County is pleased to announce the 2024 Spring Brush and Yard Waste Collection schedule. Please check your specific zone for pick-up dates. Zone 1: April 15 - April 19 Zone 2: April 22 - April 26 Zone 3: April 29 - May 3 Zone 4: May 6 - May 10 Residents are asked to have brush and yard waste at the curb by 7:00 AM on the Monday of their scheduled week. Brush should be no more than 6 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. Yard waste should be in biodegradable bags. No plastic bags will be accepted. This service is for residential yard waste only. Commercial or construction debris will not be collected.

Crawford County Seeks New Public Health Director
Crawford County is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Director of Public Health. This role is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Crawford County Public Health Department, including planning, organizing, and directing all public health programs and services. The Director will work closely with the County Board of Supervisors, other county departments, and community stakeholders to promote and protect the health of Crawford County residents. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing public health policies and programs. - Managing the department's budget and staff. - Ensuring compliance with state and federal public health regulations. - Responding to public health emergencies. - Fostering collaboration with community partners. Qualifications for this position include a Master's degree in Public Health or a related field, and significant experience in public health administration and leadership. A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a cover letter, resume, and references.
