Town Observed Holidays The Town of Bay Harbor Islands observes the following official holidays. 2026 New Year's Day: January 1, 2026 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: January 19, 2026 President's Day: February 16, 2026 Memorial Day: May 25, 2026 Juneteenth: June 19, 2026 Independence Day: Observed July 3, 2026 Labor Day: September 7, 2026 Veteran's Day: November 11, 2026 Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving: November 26 & 27, 2026 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: December 24 & 25, 2026 Full-time, non-represented, general employees also receive a day off for their birthday as well as personal days.
