ALERT: Third-Party Salesmen Claiming Affiliation with Augusta Utilities
The Augusta Utilities Department (AUD) has received reports of third-party salesmen in the South Augusta area along Deans Bridge Road and in the Elderberry Subdivision in West Augusta claiming to be contractors working with Augusta Utilities and requesting to sample residents' drinking water.

These individuals are NOT affiliated with Augusta Utilities. Please remember: AUD employees travel in Augusta-Richmond County vehicles, wear official uniforms, and carry Augusta/AUD identification credentials. Residents should always ask to see proper identification before allowing anyone access to their property or water supply.
