City of Laurel Seeking Employee Benefits Proposals
The City of Laurel is inviting qualified insurance providers to submit proposals for employee benefit offerings, including group health insurance, group life insurance, and related products. This opportunity is designed to ensure that City employees and their dependents have access to comprehensive and competitive benefits. Interested agents and providers may obtain an official information packet from the City of Laurel Human Resources Department, located in Room 302 at City Hall. Packets will be available beginning May 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026 between the hours of 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Sealed Proposal,” with the specific products identified. Submissions must also include ten copies of the proposal for review. The City of Laurel values transparency and careful consideration in this process and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. This initiative reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to supporting its workforce with quality benefits while ensuring responsible stewardship of public resources.
