The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Special Weather Statement effective immediately, October 10, 2026, until 2:30 PM UTC (10:30 AM EDT).

At 1:38 PM EDT, Doppler radar detected strong thunderstorms near Anthony, approximately 7 miles north of Ocala, moving north at 30 mph.
