Pasco County Strategic Plan Wins National EDGE Award
Pasco County has earned a national award from the National Association of Counties for its 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, recognizing the county's forward-thinking approach to community development and fiscal stewardship.

Pasco County received a national award for its 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. The National Association of Counties (NACo) presented the county with its EDGE Excellence in Strategic Planning Award. The award recognizes the county's vision and work in developing a roadmap for its future.
"We've always been focused on being the very best stewards of taxpayer dollars," said Dr. Marc Bellas, chief strategy and sustainability officer. "This Strategic Planning Award validates our laser focus on turning these dollars into long-term benefits for the Pasco community."
NACo Director of EDGE Beth Roberts praised the county's efforts. "Your innovative approach and unwavering commitment have set a new standard for excellence," Roberts said. "We are honored to recognize your achievements and the positive impact you've made in shaping the future of your county."
Developed over 18 months with input from community stakeholders, the plan aims to enhance quality of life and economic prosperity.
