Phase III Water Restrictions Hit Groveland & Lake County

The St. Johns River Water Management District declared a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage on May 11, affecting Groveland and all of Lake County.

The declaration prohibits or restricts irrigation, car washing, and other non-essential water uses. Residents should contact the City of Groveland or SJRWMD for specific rules governing their properties.

The Phase III designation represents the most severe shortage level the district issues.
