Conducts fire safety inspections of commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential buildings. Investigates fire code violations and enforces fire safety regulations. Reviews construction plans for fire protection systems. Educates the public on fire prevention. Requires Florida Certified Fire Inspector designation. Experience in fire prevention and code enforcement preferred. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
