Cremation

Cremation Overview Overview Honoring Life Honoring Life Design A Healing Experience Design A Healing Experience Funeral Services Funeral Services Permanent Memorialization Permanent Memorialization Cremation Cremation Veteran's Services Veteran's Services All About Cremation Create a modern memorial for your loved one’s remains. Many people are choosing to cremate, but that doesn’t mean they have to sacrifice the healing, traditional elements of a burial. Let us help you create a memorial onsite—because it’s helpful for many families to have a physical marker of remains. We can provide a range of flowers and décor accessories so you can best reflect your loved one at a service and much beyond. An onsite memorial becomes a place to commemorate a life and gather beyond the home, at a permanent and meaningful location In addition, please know you can bring remains to the cemetery any time, even long after cremation. Graveside Funeral Services Create a permanent gathering place for your loved one's cremated remains, where loved ones can honor and reminisce. For those who want the ease of cremation, without sacrificing a permanent resting place to gather and remember. We can guide you through the service possibilities for your loved one's cremated remains, including an outdoor graveside funeral or cremation columbaria. Personalize your loved one's service to honor them, through military honors, masonic rights or religious leadership. We offer memorials that truly speak to your loved one, through custom grave markers and memorial flowers. No matter what your wishes, we want to help them come to light. Committal Services Healing ceremonies that pay tribute to your loved one. A beautiful service that is held at the cemetery, following a funeral at mortuary chapel or your place of religious worship. Gather around your loved one's cremated remains to commemorate their life and honor the memories shared. This symbolic service is a beautiful step forward in the healing process, and can accompany many end of life options. Ash Scattering We can help you memorialize a loved one when scattering ashes. This act can be an important way to begin to let go. And it can be a creative, thoughtful reflection of your loved one. From sending remains in to space to letting them go at sea, we can help you plan a unique way to memorialize a life through scattering cremated remains. Design a Cremation as Unique as The Life Lived When choosing cremation, the options for a final resting place are limitless. Let us walk you through the possibilities as you choose the right service for your loved one. Discuss Cremation Types of Cremation Memorials Design a way to house cremated remains that expresses a life and gratifies the living. A permanent resting place is something to consider carefully. Ask yourself about the kind of design that would best commemorate the life lost and provide a fitting place for family and friends to gather at a service and many years to come. Funeral Etiquette

Accepted customs of dress and behavior in a funeral have changed over time, but courtesy never goes out of style. Here's what we'd like you to know about funeral etiquette. Funeral Etiquette | Kernodle Funeral Home - Wynne, AR Skip to content Funeral Etiquette Back to Resources Posted in: Funeral Questions Funeral Etiquette Let us guide you through the ins and outs of your funeral experience. Attending a service at Kernodle Funeral Home, Inc. DO: Watch over children to ensure their safety. Follow our cemetery guidelines. Respect cemetery visiting hours. Follow the marked roadways. Be respectful by keeping quiet around visitors who wish to reflect. DONT’S: Stay longer than you want to. It’s all about what you’re comfortable doing, don’t feel that you need to linger if you’ve celebrated your loved one in a way that feels right to you. Be afraid to laugh and share happy memories and stories. Laughter and telling happy stories can be the best medicine on the road to healing. Feel that you need to look at the deceased. If this is something you’re not comfortable doing, there is no need to do so. A service is about your comfort level and your desire to celebrate the person in a way most meaningful to you. Let your children be too loud and disturb others. As always, respect others and practice awareness. Leave your cell phone ringer on. No one needs that additional noise when they’re trying to reflect. Be afraid to make a mistake or do something wrong. You are doing something right just by coming and caring. We are Here to Help Perhaps you've got special concerns about an upcoming funeral or memorial service? We're here to provide the answers you're looking for. Call us at (870) 238-2323.
