Former Todd County Priest Faces Felony Charges

Prosecutors upgraded charges against Father Aaron Kuhn to felony status, according to Todd County court documents. Kuhn previously served as pastor at seven area churches: St. John the Baptist in Bluffton, St. Ann in Wadena, St. Joseph in Bertha, St. Hubert in Blue Grass, Assumption of Our Lady in Menahga, St. Michael in Motley, and Sacred Heart in Staples.

Authorities initially charged Kuhn on March 11, 2026, with stalking for alleged incidents between September 2019 and October 2022. Kuhn has filed a motion seeking dismissal of the charges.
