Orange County Septic Program Saves Money & Protects Springs
Orange County Program Helps Residents Protect Springs and Save on Septic Repairs
A new Orange County program offers a solution for residents facing costly and recurring septic system issues, while also working to protect local springs. The initiative provides an alternative to the frustrating cycle of temporary fixes for aging systems.
Tina Haynes, a local resident, experienced this firsthand. Her aging septic system required pumping every six to eight weeks, with each service costing approximately $375. “I was having to pump my tank every six to eight weeks, and each time it cost about $375,” Haynes affirmed. “I knew that wasn’t a long-term solution.”
The program aims to assist residents like Haynes by addressing failing septic systems, which can pose environmental risks to the region's natural springs. By offering a more permanent solution, the program helps homeowners avoid continuous maintenance expenses and contributes to broader environmental protection efforts in Orange County.
