The acclaimed musical Hamilton has returned to Orlando, offering residents a chance to experience the groundbreaking production at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The show, part of the AdventHealth Broadway in Orlando 2026–2027 season, continues its run through Oct. 18.

More than a decade after its Broadway debut, Hamilton continues to attract audiences with its unique blend of historical narrative and contemporary musical styles. The production reimagines the life of Alexander Hamilton, tracing his journey from an impoverished immigrant to a crucial figure in the founding of the United States. By incorporating hip-hop, R&B, rap and traditional musical theater, the show explores universal themes of ambition, romance, loyalty and legacy.

Since its premiere in 2015, Hamilton has earned numerous accolades, including 11 Tony Awards, a Grammy and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The current Orlando engagement provides a local opportunity to witness the production that has captivated audiences and critics alike.

The performance runs approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, including one intermission, and is recommended for audiences aged 10 and up. A special post-show Q&A session with cast and crew is scheduled after the Oct. 8 performance. This event will offer insights into the realities of touring and the logistical efforts involved in bringing the show to various stages.

Tickets for the remaining performances are still available. Following its engagement in Orlando, the national touring company is scheduled to continue its Florida tour in Tampa.
