Garden Theatre 2026-27 Season: Elton John Tribute & Musicals

DNA Productions and the City of Winter Garden announced the 2026-27 season at the Garden Theatre on Plant, 160 W. Plant St., with four musicals, four concerts, and two family shows.

The Rocket Man Show, a tribute to Elton John performed by Rus Anderson, opens Saturday, August 1, 2026. Elton John selected Anderson for the role, and Jimmy Fallon praised the performance as "Amazing."

The theatrical lineup includes "Footloose: The Musical" (September 24-October 11, 2026), a story about a teen who sparks a rebellion in a town where dancing is banned. A holiday production runs December 10-20, 2026, with the title to be announced. "The 39 Steps" (January 28-February 14, 2027) features four actors portraying over 100 characters in a Hitchcock-inspired spy comedy. "9 to 5: The Musical," featuring songs by Dolly Parton, closes the series April 15-May 2, 2027.

Concert performances include Rhinestone Cowgirls on Tuesday, December 8, 2026; Beatles to Bourbon Street on Tuesday, February 9, 2027; and A1A: The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show on Friday, March 26, 2027.

Family shows feature Wild World of Animals with Grant Kemmerer on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and Mutts Gone Nuts, a rescue dog performance, on Saturday, January 23, 2027. Both offer two performances. Haunted Illusions with magician David Caserta performs Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Tickets for the theatrical and concert series go on sale soon. Individual tickets for other productions will be available closer to performance dates.
