A Wind Advisory has been issued for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, and Limestone Counties in Alabama, and Moore, Lincoln, and Franklin Counties in Tennessee. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Huntsville, AL, issued this advisory today, October 9, at 11:34 AM CDT.

East winds are expected to reach 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. This advisory is in effect from 1:00 AM CDT on Saturday, October 10, until 7:00 AM CDT on Sunday, October 11.

Residents should secure outdoor objects as gusty winds may blow them around. Tree limbs could be blown down, potentially leading to power outages. The NWS advises that these strong winds can make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Exercise extra caution if driving during this period.
