DEERFIELD, Ill., June 04, 2024--Walgreens is teaming up with the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) to offer free, confidential health risk assessments at select Walgreens locations across the country from June 13-15. This initiative provides tools and resources to help people understand their risk for developing type 2 diabetes. As part of Walgreens commitment to create healthier communities, assessments will be conducted by Walgreens pharmacists and trained healthcare personnel, with no appointment necessary. Participants will receive personalized education materials and guidance on next steps for managing their health.
