James (Jim) Gordon Bethea

James (Jim) Gordon Bethea January 29, 1937 - June 7, 2024 James (Jim) Gordon Bethea, 87, of North Palm Beach, Florida passed away on June 7, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1937 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late John Leslie and Evelyn Bethea. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elizabeth Sue Bethea; children, James (Jay) Bethea, Jr., Leslie Ann (Tricia) Bethea, and Carol (Dee) B. Davis; as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Jim loved spending time with his family and friends, was an avid golfer, loved to fish and tell stories. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach, Old Marsh Golf Club, and Jupiter Hills Club. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's name to First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, North Palm Beach, FL.

"Precautionary Boil Water Order Hialeah, FL. – A precautionary boil water order has been issued on June 7, 2024, due to a water main break for the following areas: • From W 84 St to W 92 St • From NW 107 Ave to NW 114 Ave As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing dishes be boiled before use. Bring the water to a rolling boil for one minute. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This precautionary boil water order will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time."
