Wilton Manors Finance Dept. Wins National Awards for Fiscal Excellence

The Wilton Manors Finance Department received two national awards from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its fiscal management. The awards recognize the department's commitment to safeguarding city assets, maximizing revenue, and providing transparent financial information.

The department earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2023. This award affirms that the city's financial reports meet high standards for accountability and transparency.

Additionally, the Finance Department received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its annual budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2023. This award highlights the department's success in clearly communicating the city's financial plan and priorities to the public.
