Ray caps liquor licenses at four

Ray city commissioners approved a resolution limiting liquor licenses to four, establishing the first cap on licenses in the city's history.

City Auditor Ronda Rustad introduced the measure at the Jan. 8 commission meeting. The city ordinance previously contained no maximum, leaving the number of licenses unregulated.

The cap takes effect immediately for all liquor license applications within city limits.
