Williston Economic Development Week June 8-12

Williston Economic Development hosts a week of business events June 8-12 aimed at connecting entrepreneurs, established companies and community members with economic programs and regional resources.

The week begins Monday, June 8, with the State of the City Address from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Great Northern Events Center, 202 1st Avenue E. WED follows with an open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center for Development, 113 4th Street E.

Wednesday, June 10, brings two events at the Great Northern Events Center: Brew Your Business, a resources panel and fair from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the ILT Academy Idea Innovator Workshop from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required for the workshop.

Thursday, June 11, features the Business Summit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the WSC Healthcare Training Facility, 1406 University Ave., with tracks on technology and unmanned aircraft systems. Registration is required. An Industry and HR Roundtable follows from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with Business After Hours from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Friday, June 12, concludes the week with groundbreaking ceremonies at times to be announced. Tuesday, June 9, has no WED events scheduled.
