A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Wilcox County, including Camden and Pine Hill, by the National Weather Service (NWS) Mobile, AL. This warning is effective immediately, beginning at 1:02 AM CDT on October 10, 2026, and is set to expire at 9:15 AM UTC on the same day.
Residents in affected areas must shelter from dangerous winds now. Peak wind gusts of up to 50 mph are expected, with a potential for winds reaching 58 to 73 mph. Last-minute efforts to protect life and property should be complete. Significant wind damage is possible.
Emergency plans should also include potential major flooding from heavy rain. An additional 1 inch of rainfall is expected, with the potential for extensive impacts including major rainfall flooding, prompting evacuations and rescues. Rivers may overflow, and floodwaters could enter structures. Heed all flood watches and warnings.
