York County Board Accepts Road Maintenance Bids

YORK – The York County Board opened bids Tuesday for gravel and hauling services needed for the upcoming road maintenance season.

Greg Heine and Ashley Rasmussen of the York County Roads Department presented bids from seven gravel suppliers: Hooker Brothers, Johnson Sand & Gravel, Johnson Trucking Sand & Gravel, Overland Sand & Gravel, Southwest Gravel Products, Vogt Trucking and Transport, and Buel Trucking Inc.

Seven companies also submitted hauling bids: Vogt Trucking and Transport, Greckel Construction Company, 17 Inc., JN Nelson Trucking LLC, Southwest Gravel Products, A&K Trucking LLC, and Buel Trucking Inc.

The board accepted all bids, giving the county multiple vendors to draw from throughout the year for rural road and neighborhood projects.
