White Plains Juneteenth Celebration at Bailey Park

The White Plains Town Board unanimously voted to co-sponsor a Juneteenth celebration on June 15 at Richard J. Bailey Park.

The event will feature cultural programming and community activities honoring African American history. Organizers scheduled the celebration for the Sunday closest to the June 19 federal holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States.
