The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Call to Order 2. Approval of Minutes from the June 11, 2024 Meeting 3. Old Business: a. Update on Road Repairs (Elm Street) 4. New Business: a. Discussion and Potential Action on Proposed Zoning Change for Parcel XYZ (Oak Avenue and Pine Street) - Public Hearing to be scheduled. 5. Public Comments 6. Adjournment All citizens are welcome to attend.

MEETING MINUTES BACON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JULY 9, 2024 The Bacon County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Bacon County Courthouse. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. Present were Chairman John Doe, Commissioner Jane Smith, Commissioner Robert Johnson, Commissioner Emily Davis, and Commissioner Michael Brown. AGENDA: 1. Call to Order 2. Approval of Minutes from the June 11, 2024 Meeting 3. Old Business: Update on Road Repairs 4. New Business: Proposed Zoning Change for Parcel XYZ 5. Public Comments 6. Adjournment PROCEEDINGS: 1. Call to Order: Chairman Doe called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. 2. Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Smith moved to approve the minutes from the June 11, 2024 meeting. Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion. The minutes were approved unanimously. 3. Old Business: Commissioner Davis provided an update on the ongoing road repair project on Elm Street. She stated that work is progressing as scheduled and is expected to be completed by August 15, 2024. 4. New Business: Commissioner Brown presented a proposal for a zoning change for Parcel XYZ, located at the corner of Oak Avenue and Pine Street. The proposed change is from residential to commercial to allow for the development of a new retail complex. A public hearing will be scheduled for this item at a future meeting. 5. Public Comments: Mr. Alan Green, a resident of the affected area, expressed concerns about increased traffic. Ms. Sarah Lee, a local business owner, spoke in favor of the development. 6. Adjournment: Commissioner Johnson moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Davis seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
