At 335 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Silvies, or 24 miles south of John Day. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Seneca and Silvies.
This includes Highway 395 between mile markers 25 and 40.
