Elk Grove Cemetery Board Approves Minutes, Reviews Finances

The Elk Grove-Cosumnes Cemetery District Board of Trustees met Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The board approved minutes from emergency and special meetings held Aug. 17, Aug. 20 and Aug. 27. Trustees also reviewed and approved the district's financial reports for August.
Discussion items included planning for 'History Week,' supporting the 'Wreaths Across America' program, an update on the SCERS issue and development plans for Pleasant Grove Cemetery. 'Wreaths Across America' is a national initiative to place wreaths on veterans' graves during the holiday season.
District Manager Jonathan Lambdin provided a report, and the board held a public comment period. The board requested agenda items for its next meeting before moving into a closed executive session to discuss sensitive matters.
