The Village of Tequesta is accepting bids for a contract to maintain, inspect, and repair its water treatment plant's essential systems. Qualified vendors can bid on the Scrubber, Degasifier, and Membrane Services Contract.

This contract ensures the continued operation and efficiency of the village's odor control scrubber, degasifier, and reverse osmosis treatment systems. Services include scheduled and as-needed inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency response, chemical cleaning, media and component replacement, and performance testing.

Sealed bids are due through DemandStar by 2 p.m. local time on August 27, 2026. Bids will be opened virtually on the same platform. The village may award contracts to one or more bidders. The resulting contract will be non-exclusive.

The agreement has an initial three-year term. The Village can renew for up to three additional one-year terms, based on performance and funding.

Bidding documents are available on the Village of Tequesta's website and DemandStar. Interested parties can schedule site visits or submit questions to Juan Rivas, Capital Improvement Project Manager for the Utilities Department, via email. Written questions about specifications and the solicitation process are due by 5 p.m. local time on August 20, 2026. A “Cone of Silence” restricts communication between potential bidders and village officials until an award recommendation is approved or the selection process concludes.
