Royal Palm Beach Unveils Comprehensive Employee Benefits to Attract and Retain Top Talent
The Village of Royal Palm Beach offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees, aiming to attract and retain staff. The Village emphasizes that its employees are its most valuable assets, and the benefits reflect this commitment.
Full-time employees become eligible for the full benefit package on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. This package includes Health Insurance with Health Savings, two options for Dental Insurance, Basic Group Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, and participation in the Florida Retirement System. They also receive Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Paid Annual Leave.
Part-time employees also receive support. They are eligible for tuition reimbursement and can access certain benefit options at minimal cost, such as Telehealth and other voluntary employee-paid benefits.
Beyond core benefits, the Village provides a range of additional voluntary and supplemental options. These include PMA USA – Washington National, Aflac, Long Term Care with Unum, Legal Shield/Identity Protection, Guardians Credit Union, a Flexible Spending Account, Direct Deposit, Supplemental Life Insurance, Dependent Life Insurance, and three options for a 457 Savings Plan. Vision Insurance and a Tax Free 125 Cafeteria Plan are also available.
