Boca Helping Hands Launches CDL Training Programs for Residents Seeking Trucking Careers

Boca Raton residents seeking new career paths in transportation can find support through Boca Helping Hands. The organization, in partnership with The CDL School, Inc., offers comprehensive training programs for Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL), including both Class A and Class B licenses.

This initiative directly addresses local workforce needs by providing the necessary skills and certifications for in-demand driving positions. The programs include not only extensive training but also crucial job placement assistance, helping graduates transition directly into employment. For eligible students, financial support may also be available, removing a significant barrier to entry for many.

The CDL training programs are designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and practical experience required to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. This includes classroom instruction and hands-on driving experience, preparing students for the rigorous CDL examination.

To apply for the program, prospective students must already possess a Commercial Learner’s Permit and a current DOT Physical Card. These prerequisites ensure applicants meet basic federal safety standards before beginning the specialized training. Additional specific requirements also apply, which interested individuals can inquire about directly.
