Finance Department Mission The Finance Department is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive financial management system for the City including centralized accounting, financial and budgetary reporting. The department oversees purchasing, accounts payable and payroll processing, budgetary preparation and compliance, cash and debt management, fixed asset administration and the utility billing department. This is a common practice and the fee will not be greater than the cost of acceptance incurred from credit card companies for processing credit card transactions. Please know that the City of Flagler Beach is not making any profit from this fee. If you choose to pay by credit card, whether it be over the phone, at the counter, a recurring payment or a one-time payment using our website, a transaction/convenience fee will be calculated at the time of payment, based on the transaction amount.
