Watermelon Swim Pumpkin Patch Supports Kids' Swim Lessons in Wesley Chapel

Wesley Chapel families can celebrate autumn and support local children at Watermelon Swim’s annual Pumpkin Patch event. The swim school hosts indoor pumpkin displays at its Wesley Chapel location from Oct. 2 to Oct. 31. The facility welcomes visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to select pumpkins, take photos and enjoy the fall season.

Every pumpkin purchase directly funds the Watermelon Swim Students with Disabilities Scholarship Fund. This fund provides swim lessons to local children with physical and cognitive challenges, aiming to improve their water safety and confidence.

Watermelon Swim highlights the critical importance of water safety, noting that drowning is a leading cause of death for young children. Research shows continuous swim lessons can reduce a child's drowning risk by 88%.

In addition to the pumpkin patch, Watermelon Swim will hold its annual Fall Festival on Oct. 17 at its Lutz, South Tampa, and Brooksville locations. This free community event includes games, trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, giveaways and photo opportunities.
