Charlotte Hornets guards Kon Knueppel and LaMelo Ball each surpassed 270 made three-pointers this season, marking a statistical feat previously accomplished only by Golden State Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Knueppel finished with more made threes than Ball, while Ball attempted more shots from beyond the arc.
Knueppel, in his rookie season, shot 42.5% from three-point range. Ball recorded a 36.8% shooting percentage from deep. Hornets forward Brandon Miller also contributed to the team's perimeter scoring, connecting on 38.3% of his three-point attempts and averaging 3.1 made threes per game.
The Hornets concluded their season participating in the play-in tournament.
