Separately, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported nearly 7,000 confirmed or suspected cases of cyclosporiasis across the nation. This count includes individuals identified with the parasitic infection.
In state-level developments, New York has implemented a moratorium on the construction of new large data centers. The state became the first to enact such a policy.
