East Washington Borough Gets $25K Grant for Memorial Park

East Washington Borough received a $25,000 grant from the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency to develop Memorial Park at the corner of East Beau Street and South Wade Street.

The American Spirit Grant Program funds projects tied to the nation's 250th anniversary in 2026. Alyssa Broderick submitted the grant application on behalf of the borough. Construction begins in the coming months, with completion expected in July 2026.
