A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, and Clearfield counties until 10:00 AM EDT, with visibility less than a quarter mile; drivers should slow down and use low-beam headlights.
Motorists in Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, and Clearfield counties are advised to drive with extreme caution due to a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) State College PA. The advisory is effective immediately, September 30, at 8:43 AM EDT, and will remain in effect until 10:00 AM EDT this morning.
Visibility is reported to be one quarter mile or less in dense fog across the affected areas. This significantly reduced visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
The NWS urges all drivers to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and maintain plenty of distance between their vehicle and others. These precautions are critical to ensure safety during the advisory period.
