Amy Michelle Tomlinson, age 52, of Morrice, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.Amy was born on August 11, 1973, in Lansing. She graduated from Perry High School and worked for many years as a screen printing technician, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.On July 20, 1999, Amy married the love of her life, Joe Tomlinson, at the courthouse in Owosso. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and adventure. Amy was loving, outgoing, and truly the life of the party. She cherished spending time with her children and family, making lasting memories with those she cared about most.Amy enjoyed attending concerts, going on camping trips, and cheering for her favorite teams. She was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions, as well as college football and basketball, especially rooting for the Michigan State Spartans.One of Amy and Joe's greatest adventures was transforming a bus into an RV, which they proudly used for camping trips to locations such as Michigan International Speedway and Sleepy Hollow State Park. She also enjoyed attending tractor shows with her family and loved relaxing at the beach, particularly the ocean, as well as traveling to Florida.Amy is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Tomlinson; her children, Courtney Tomlinson and Brandon Tomlinson; her stepfather, Matt Schlicklin; her sister, Heather (Andy) Kirby; her brother, Doug Eaton; her nephew, Colin Frank; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wendy Schlicklin; her grandmother, Barbara Dutcher; and her aunt, Sheila Turner.Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Amy’s name to the American Cancer Society.Memories and online condolences may be shared at www.WatkinsFuneralHomes.com.
