Helen Anna Dymond, age 100, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026 in Howell, Michigan surrounded by her loving family.She was born on June 17, 1925 in Farrell, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Stephen and Anna Karacak.“Anne” lived a long and blessed life. She grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to Detroit after graduation, married her loving husband, Norm, on September 22, 1944, and moved to Howell, where they raised their family. They were together for 70 years.She was a very caring, generous, and thoughtful woman who was devoted to her family and her many friends. Listening to music, dancing, playing cards, gardening, and traveling were some of her favorite activities. As a member of the Presbyterian Church, she served as a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. Over the years she volunteered her time with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and at the Hospital and Elk’s Club.Anne is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Stanley) Hayes, her son, Robert (Robin) Dymond, six Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Norman C. Dymond, her son, Norman D. Dymond, her sister, Julia Philp, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.Anne was a devoted and loving wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and friend. Her kind and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved her and those whose many lives she touched.A private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Howell where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Norm.Memorial Contributions in Anne’s honor may be made to the Salvation Army.
