Teton County is looking to hire two seasonal River Ambassadors to help ensure safe and responsible recreation on the Teton River. These ambassadors will engage with river users at public access points, educate them on river safety and stewardship, and provide a visible presence during the busiest periods.
The positions are seasonal, running from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with potential for up to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience. These roles are non-benefitted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working outdoors. Prior knowledge of the Teton River and experience in outdoor recreation, education, or stewardship are preferred.
